Well here are my tips for night nappying:
1. Use a fleece or wool cover - not PUL!
They are incredilby breathable which helps make sure that bub doesn't get a sore bottom.
2. Natural fibre sheets
Use natural fibre sheets as it helps with the evaporation through the fleece or wool covers.
3. Use extra boosting at night.
But put the booster on the outside of the nappy but within the cover. This makes sure you don't alter the fit of the nappy, which could lead to leaks or blowouts. I find hemp boosters are the best for this.
4. Barrier Balm
I also use a natural barrier balm at night to make extra sure that DD does get a sore bottom.
