Re: softening nappies
I think this phenomena was referred to in another thread a while back, but can't remember the details.
As for what I do to soften the hemp here (not any more because they aren't too bad and my DD is no longer as sensitive to them): I used to put them in the dryer for 15min with a damp piece of microfleece if the nappies were dry. That made them soft enough. Of course drying them completely in the dryer would make them really soft!!
