Look if the SB OV pockets work why not stick to that. If she would let you, you could always get a wool soaker over the top just to catch any leaks.
Even if she becomes day TT night TT could be a while off so you need something that will last the distance for her.
Pink BBB will always resell so if she is happy in that then go for it . Pull ups are expensive and you could be buying them for a long time.
