I have seen this mentioned a couple of times on the forum, including in the last day or two, that it is hard to convey a tone of voice in the written word; it doesn't even work with smilies; and often a comment is interpreted the wrong way. I saw it happen this weekend. I read a post which someone else interpreted as nasty or critical while I saw it as a normal and even amusing remark.We need to remember this when responding, and before attacking the writer consider if it was meant in the way we first assumed.We each express our thoughts slightly differently.

This is a nice board and I enjoy reading it
