How about a Bambineo terry bamboo nappy? It's good for chunky thighed babies as it's got lots of room for legs and it's pretty trim. You can put an extra bamboo booster in it too. I use them on my bubba but she's only small - still, my bubba will soak a Sandman overnight and I've used a boosted Bambineo (extra bamboo inside and microfibre on the outside) with almost the same absorbancy (but not the same poo-tainment for BF poos). I'd go for a cover that's not prone to wicking - BBH PUL covers wick a bit more on the legs so I'd go Bummis or Motherease if you want to use PUL.

I've never heard of anyone else who uses Bambineo's so it's a risk (I've only been using MCN's for 5 months). They sell them at Darlings Downunder - perhaps you could email Tania for an opinion...
