Default storing nappies for a few years

Mila has some gorgeous nappies that I dont feel I can part with just yet. I really dont want to use them on lollipop as they are just too girly.

If I was to wash them and store them in those plastic tubs will they be OK? Or will the elastic and other materials like PUL breakdown.

I am keeping them in hope we have another girl someday. Is this silly? Realistically we wouldnt even try to concieve again till lollipop is at least 1yr old. So thats storing them for 2-3 years....and I might have another boy!

Should I just get over the attachment, sell them to fund larger naps for lollipop and then buy more girly ones if that happens. I am sure in that time there will be so many more fantastic naps. I mean just in the time Mila has been in nappies there are new makers, styles and fabrics like minkee and bamboo.

Thanks from the confused and hoarding one.
