Fleece is a pretty general term

in MCN, you can talk about
ABSORBENT types of fleece e.g hemp fleece, bamboo fleece
WATER RESISTANT types of fleece e.g polar fleece, malden mills fleece
STAY DRY fleece e.g microfleece that you use for liners, or inner of pocket nappies for e.g

there are night nappies that specifically use Malden Mills Windpro fleece for their outer, you can buy Malden Mills windpro fleece covers, i find these much more waterproof than two layers of polar fleece.

If you wish to avoid wool, i would suggest

- Poochies* covers (if you can find them 2nd hand, i don't think they are beign made anymore)
- Sugarpeas* side snaps covers
- Staccinator Deluxe covers
- Swaddlebees fleece covers
- Bear Bottoms* pullup style soakers
all these are made from MM fleece, the ones asterisked (*) use windpro.

Measure your baby's rise over the night nappy to help you work out which size cover to get.

Night nappies are bulkier than day nappies, so sometimes you'll need a bigger sized cover to get over the night nappy.

WRT wool
sometimes it's not the WOOL that people are reacting to, it's the DYES and PROCESSES the wool is put thru that people's skin reacts to. There are organic wool options like Disana soakers and Lanacare soakers. Many handknitted woollies for MCN are dyed using organic dyes to avoid this. not saying this WILL solve your dilemna, just something to consider.
