I had this for a while-it mystified me until I realised it was only my girls and only when they were in a pocket with only trifolds in it, so the absorbency was in the middle and they'd pee straight throught the fleece sides! After that I always made sure the nappy was right up snug against their thighs and boosted all the way to the edge. I've only used turned nappies, i've never been a fan of frills.

I've never had this problem with my boy, so i'm assuming the different point of exit also makes a difference.

I've often thought of making a night nappy that's more like a pair of shorts-I doubt i'll ever get around to it but that's what I theorised would fix a few problems we've had.
