thank you, you are so right, i dont really talk about it to family anymore, but when they come visit we get the comments when they see him in cloth nappies
here in the uk there are very few people using real nappies - dont know if it is more accepted in australia?
thank you so much for the links to the fleece and wool pants, am a bit uncertain about the fleece ones in case he has a fleece sensitivity and i'm also a bit concerned about wool and lanolin allergy so i'll try and work out what's irritating his skin with what we've got and then try one of the fleece or wool ones - they look really good, i cant beleive i've not heard about them before!
and i knit as well, so if i get on with a bought one i could have a go at making my own and really save some pennies!
we really appreciate all the effort people have gone to to help us out
i'm still doing the strip washing and i'm a bit nervous about trying the cloth again but i've got a bit more confidence now with all the advice and info i'm getting on this thread
i'll keep posting to let everyone know how we get on, and in the meantime any ideas are still welcome!
