It's nice to be here! I'm mum to my two beautiful girls - 5 month old Becky and 2 year old sister, Sarah - and a kinda hair-brained
Puli named Kormos.
I've been lurking here for a while, but Nic71 has finally nagged me into joining. She's also the one who dragged me, almost literally, kicking and screaming into this whole MCN caper a year ago. After teaching in a nursery for two years, where we had 10 kids a day in terry flats I was almost scarred for life - no WAY was I going to bother with cloth for my babies!
And then Nic lent me two BBH and a cover. Admittedly they did sit on my shelf for two weeks while I eyeballed them with great suspicion. Finally I decided it would be just plain rude for me to return them without having even tried them!
... and an obsession was born
. I'm sewing or hunting for funky new fabrics with other cloth-addicted friends any chance my kids (and my wallet!) let me and I've built up a
very pretty - and constantly growing - stash, if I do say so myself
I'm usually hanging out on another forum, but I'm looking forward to meeting people here too - though I already spy a few familiar looking names and avs.
