Have you tried "Exit" soap ... available at most Mitre-10 hardware stores and some saddlery stores?

Or pour a little liquid laundry detergent onto the stain and rub together before putting into the wash. Only need a tiny dribble not a big glob ... if that makes sense.
If you use a powder detergent then a "pinch" of powder onto the pre-wet area of the stain and rub in ... then put into the wash.
