I think it's wasteful to use extra rinse cycles... but that's just me.
I do usually use the "rinse +" function on my washing machine which makes the rinse cycle a bit longer and adds a bit of extra water to the rinse.
Nappies really only need a little bit of detergent, so they don't need the extra rinse generally for that... and they are just going back on your baby's bum, not being used as serviettes,
... so I don't think extra rinses because of the "poo" factor is really necessary either.
The sun will get rid of the rest .... (that is if you have sun... we haven't seen it in a few days
)
