Imo, you have to carry on with the same at day care as you do at home & vice versa.
For example, if you have Becky in knickers or trainers at home, but then have her in nappies at Day Care, she's going to get confused & the whole tt message is not going to get through.
I don't think 'waiting until she's confident at home' is going to work if she's going to day care in nappies - she's going to get mixed signals. You are either trying to toilet train her, or you aren't - little ones have the memory of a pea, so it has to be enforced

Talk it through with her group leader, they are sooooo experienced with this & can give you some great tips as well.
