Default Re: drying wool covers

Best to dry in shade- dappled weak sunlight is OK, but direct sunlight can affect the colour and texture of the wool negatively.

When you have dunked them in the water and/or lanolin, just ease some of the water out with a gentle squeeze then lay on a towel and roll it up to get more moisture out. Then yep, lay flat on another dry towel and depending on the weather/your interior house climate they should not take too long at all to dry.

You don't have to do this after every wear (only if they get poo on them)- just air them on a clothes airer and the urine will evaporate. If you have two (or more), then rotate the covers between nappy changes of that makes sense?

HTH?
