Sorry Lindy but I have to admit I had a bit of a chuckle when I read that
ETA - my girls were all at the 'almost there' stage by the time I let them choose their own knickers. I just had plain (read cheap
) ones for them to get started with & once they pretty much had it, I took them shopping. I used it as a way of reinforcing that I trusted them to keep their 'special knickers' clean & dry & I guess I was lucky that each of them responded to that.
