you could try flushing - but ime this makes a bigger mess lol.
my kids always had sticky/chunky poo's (sorry if tmi)the whole time and i always scrape with a spoon. might be worth practising at home?? i do the same when i travel
eta ..im sure id probably love using a LS at home if i wasnt too cheap to pay for one
my method has always worked fine so that never helped lol
