- is my bub at the start or end of the weight range, for the size of IB currently in
If in the smalls, i think they go up to 6.5kg- how close is your bub to that? That will help you decide what size to get.
- you could also go looking for other brand "front snap, trim fitting, low rise, minky nappies with the snap in inserts for quick drying".
Often when you go on a hunt like that, you find something that meets MOST of the criteria, but rarely something that meets ALL the criteria, so decide on what rocks your world MOST about MCN right now. What is most critical to you - again, that will guide you.
Babies shape does change as they grow. THis is what stopped me buying a gazillion of one type or brand, no matter how well they worked for us at a particular stage. There are gamblers in this world, and i'm not one of them!
Ittis seem reasonably easy to buy these days, which is great, you don't have the pressure of having to buy them before they disappear. I remember when you used to have to be a hyena to score one! and stockings sold out in a nano-second!
I found the itti bitti boo (fitted nappy) a good night nappy for the small bub too (with a waterproof cover over the top).

With the BG's, I have the sized AIO's and the Baby Beehinds are fitted AIO's. With the itti's, I have both the sewn in and the snap in all in size medium (Clementine weighs 6.2kgs so I didn't bother with the small size).
I do understand what you are saying about body shape changing which is why I think I am stalling on buying more of the D'Lish. And my stash is so small at the moment which is why I just have to buy some more
At the moment, I am having to wash them each night which I really want to get out of the habit of doing and only have to wash every second or third day.
When I started on this adventure, I honestly didn't realise there were so many sorts of nappies out there.
