Default How can I help him

Flynn has been sick all week with the vomits since Monday night.

He has now stopped vomiting but has the worst case of diarrohea I have ever seen.

Sorry TMI but it is just liquid, everytime he poos it just flows down his leg it is that runny.

It is like liquid with a mustard colour.

Poor boy everytime he says poo we just end up with an explosion.

He feels better in himself except for his bottom which is now hurting him I think as he is just crying as he is pooing.

I think I have heard that panadol is a binding agent will that work.

    Poor Flynn
Gastro is just the worst virus for kids to have I reckon.
I've got no idea what might help him but I'm sure you already know to give him plenty of small sips of clear fluid to make sure he doesn't dehydrate.

Is he eating now? Are you using the BRAT diet (bananas, white rice, applesauce i.e. stewed apples, toast)? That should help firm up the poo.
I had gastro last week so I feel for the poor little guy - and mum cleaning up! I hope he is better soon.

A spoonful of raspberry jam is great for helping to sort the tum out too Rebecca.

Poor little man - I tend to pull out all our nappies and covers with natural inners when the boys have a case of the runs - or any with gussets!

Hope he's feeling much better very very soon!
