Default HELP Infection - snif snif

My poor baby developed nappy rash then somehow picked up an infection (Staph or strep???). She now is red raw and it just looks and i am sure feels terrible. I bit the bullet and took her to the doctor when it started to bleed. I so wanted to try other natural methods but then felt terrible i hadnt taken her sooner. Now she is on Amoxilyn and also an antibiotic cream. I feel so guilty but i just wanted to be able to cure it.

What should i be doing with the nappies. There hasnt been any sun so how do i sanitise them? Hot washes???

I just re-read the post and its not as bad as it reads. There is 4 little spots but its the first time she has had any nappy rash so i panicked........

When Alex had his last very bad skin trouble, I used the Dettol sanitiser rinse in the final rinse. Don't know if it really helps, but it made me feel better.
As far as I know, water has to be at boiling point to sanitise, but I suppose a hot wash would have to be of some benefit.
