Default Blister

K has one small blister on her bits. It doesn't appear to be sore, she's not crying at changes, bath etc etc. we are changing frequently and I'd let her run around nudie for a bit, but no poo yet today and I know she'd leave me a present. I suspect it was from not enough changes at daycare sigh! Different carers for the day and if the nappy doesn't look wet, they don't always change

We had a salt water swim today - but other suggestions? I don't have any creams here at the moment, bar zinc/castor oil cream.

Could it be something else though? Should I have it checked out. It's popped itself sometime this afternoon, it looks clean, slightly moist and not infected or anything?

Sabrina has had open sores on her bits (may have started as blisters??) and the only thing that has helped is a combination of Bepanthen and Sudocrem... Bepanthen doesn't work if the Sudocrem isn't used in conjunction to protect the sore when she wee/pees.

Maybe just use the barrier cream to try and protect it and see how it goes? We've been giving her as much NFT as possible.

Hopefully someone comes along with better suggestions than I have!

I'd be using the zinc and trying my hardest to keep her dry. Kai often gets really sore open wounds in his nappy area. The last one was actually on his foreskin about 3mm big! Looked so sore I did try for a few days in cloth to get him better but every morning it looked worse and worse and I was scared it would eat right through it so I put him in sposies for a few days Worked a treat though Sucked buying them though.

Thanks everyone, I probably have bepanthen, I'll have a look for that. I'll try the bepanthen and zinc combined. Will for sure be telling daycare off tomorrow and putting a note into her book. Should send fitteds, they'd know when she was wet then

Riv's had a blister or two in his time, always caused by teething. Honestly, that teething poo/wee is toxic!
Betadine worked for us.
