    Unhappy Rash from training pants

Since going cloth with Laila I decided we should stop buying the disposable pull-ups for James for overnight. For the past month I have been using Blueberry Training pants to catch that one wee that happens overnight.

All has been well except this last week when I noticed that he had some redness on his bottom. I just looked again today as he was about to jump in the shower and it looks horrible. It spreads right across his butt cheeks and looks kind of like scalding. He says it "doesn't hurt" or "its getting better Mum".

We always take it off as soon as he gets up so its not like sits around in a wet pull-up for hrs.

I'm going to have to go back to disposable pull-ups until we can clear it up.

Am I doing something wrong? It gets washed the with Laila's nappies just the same as always. Could he be sensitive to the inner perhaps? I think it is microfibre terry. Should I be trying to add a stay dry layer against his skin? That would be hard seeing as it is a pull up though.

    Anyone have any clues?
    Thanks.

i had the same problem when i used bummis training pants...i put it down to the (tight) leg elastic plus the moist environment. So I went back to peapods with her undies on so she could still feel the wetness.
