Does he have chubby thighs? This started happening with Lucas around the same time it was very dry and almost flaked/rubbed off. I found the cotton PUL the worst but I put it down to increased movement and chunky thighs he is fine with cotton or poly PUL now (i guess he got slimmer and they didn't rub as much)

i remember reading on one MCN site about "toddler" MCN, when they start walking, narrower crotch nappies, which facilitate the increased movement.
it took me looking on US sites to find mention of narrow and wide crotched nappies - which i had not realised about before, but now i am aware of it, seems so obvious. i don't see much talk of it on Aust sites (i have no idea why). This has been important to us, we sold all our wide crotched nappies (including Greenkids) lovely nappies but too wide for bilby, and bought narrow crotched MCN instead - much better fit for our bub. And she walks in it fine, no irritation. you mentioned your bub rashes up in the PUL nappies but not the minky PUL ones. Is your bub ok in fleece nappies?

nappies with fleece outer? well where do you start?
pockets: bits for bots do malden mills fleece pockets loads of brands do polar fleece pockets, but i've gone blank of the names aio: cherub's kiss honeyboys catnap honeyboys cuddlesncloth nicnaps widdlewuns (now on widdlewuns store on ozebaby, used to be on teh pure and natural botanika store instead) kester kovers aio at possum's pouch bits for bots malden mills fleece aio I'm sure a search of wahmnaps, wahmania, ozebaby etc would turn up plenty more. I don't think any of what i've listed, have suedecloth inner, but as usual, worth checking out the product specifications before you buy anything. To make sure product will meet your bub's needs. the cgr's are at wahmnaps store, yes, i think they're fleece outers too, i've never looked at those much, cos we're 100% sidesnappers here. (so temptation was taken away from me, luckily! the embroidery and fabrics are lovely).
