Argh! He hates nappy-free time!

WHY does my 2.5 year old hate not having a nappy on? All my friends' boys of a similr age take their pants off at any opportunity but Alastair has a nappy rash (maybe cos he ate a ton of watermelon the other day) and just refuses to not wear a nappy.

His poor little bottom I try to tell him (gently) that if he went in the potty his bum wouldn't be so sore because it wouldn't be sitting in poo. I obviously change him as soon as I know he's gone (he'll often tell me anyway).

Would he perhaps wear some little jocks instead? Not quite nappy free, but still allowing more air to circulate.

maybe he knows how much mum loves her mcn's?! lol Sorry no real suggestions, but the jocks one sounds good. Maybe if he picked out a pair especially at the shop?

my sis has the same prolem with her son, about the same age, he HATES going without a nappy...All my guys loved being naked DS2 has just worked out how to take his velcro nappies which is a pain s I dont have enough snap naooies that fit him well
