    Default Nappy free time

How do i do nappy free time with a 3mth old?

What do I need to put on the floor incase he does a wee or no 2? He is a tummy sleeper so prefers to be on his belly anyway...

I havent done nappy free time until my kids have started walking (so they are outside iykwim) but i think Marlie needs it!

    Any tips?

lay a towel on the floor...
if you are putting him on carpet - a fleece blanket or a cot mattress protector underneath should help

I'm just lying Lucy on some terry squares atm.

If she does a wee it does soak through but I'm not too worried about a bit of baby wee.

Her favourite game is wiggling herself off............but it gives her something to do

She loves it so much that she would be nappy free about 3hrs a day. I'm so glad the weather is warm enough atm that I don't have to worry about her being cold.

Gee, I don't know. I've never thought about it.

She's had nappy free time since the day she was born so I think, they just think that is what babies do????

None of them have made any comments anyway.

Ashton has his nappy free time after his bath, I just chuck him on a blanket on the floor. If he wees on it, no problem, it just goes in the laundry for the next load of washing

I try putting blankets/terry squares, etc under Sarah (now 5 months) but she doesn't stay in one spot anymore!! The other day she got about 2 metres across the floor in 10 minutes - just by rolling and squirming around... before she started moving, though I'd just put whatever I had on hand under her - sheepskin, terry squares, playmat, whatever - they can all be washed

I have always just used a cot quilt......we have heaps of them (I think people must have thought if I had a quilt for the cot I might use the cot )

they were always a bit padded so made it nice and soft for bub and the soaked up the wee great and they were a bit bigger then a towel or terry flat so would take bub longer to wiggle off......I would just throw them in the wash, once they were weed on and grab a clean one

My kids spent ALOT of time bare bummed

When R was little I just used to lay her on a blanket or towel etc. It would often go through, but I would wipe it with the towel and it was easy. And it soaks up most of it anyway.

I think R did one every time she had her nappy off LOL

all Louis has to say is that Freya doesn't have a weiner (penis) (he calls it a weiner because that's what DH refers to it as - he's American )

other than that they've got nothing to say about it!

I just put Freya down on the floor on a towel. Not much use now though as she rolls and moves all over the place so barely stays on it anyway. She wees on the floor quite a bit, but baby wee is different to toddler wee.
