Well for abour a month now i have been trying too rid ella of this horrid what i thought a rash, its really bad and wont go away.. its heaps of lump sores all over her bum and narnie.. does that sound like a normal nappy rash?? ive never seen anything like it. DF has been changing her past 2 weeks so i never noticed it till today how bad it is. and we have tried paw paw, amolin and also now curash but nothing is working, nappy free time isnt either and i keep chaging at first sign of wetness...
it look almost like chicken pox on her butt and narnie but nowhere else.. if you can kinda visualise that???

Sounds like a bad case of thrush to me...
LOTS of nappy free time if possible.
How often does she have a bath?
Do your nappies need a strip wash?
Maybe do a strip wash and add some Dettol to the final rinse.
What we do:
Nice long soak in a warm bath, I run the bath through a stocking of oats.
Dab dry, add layer of calendula ointment, I line Benji's napies with a cotton liner to protect the nappies from the ointment, and also because fleece liners dry his skin out making the rash worse.
Change every 1.5 to 2 hrs minimum AND a change during the night.
Strip wash his nappies and rinse with dettol, and line dry in the sun.
I've found since using dettol regularly on Benji's nappies we don't have many issues with nappy rash.
oh thanx i only stripped them about 3 weeks ago or 4... but ill do them again... she has 2-3 showers or baths a day.. coz she hope in with me then jumps in when her daddy showers then sometimes a bath too lol. calendula ointment where would i get that???
ill grab some dettol and add too the wash see if that helps. and i always use fleece liners atm coz of the ointment cept her daddy forgot the fleece last night and now her BG OS has ointment on it hoepfully itll come out ahh..
and she tend too take her nappies off once they wet so i change her often atm. and i will have too hope the sun comes out soon !!
and how do u run thru a stocking of oats?? lol im so doopey.
its hard with the nappy free time coz we rent and if she pees or poops on the carpet and we cant get it out then we will end up paying up when we leave... but i try and watch her when its off but usually its not for too long.

Sounds similar to what Isla had going on. The only thing that fixed it was sposies at night of all things.
Dr suggested that fungal cream that has 1% cortizone in it. over the counter at chemist.
DS had very bad nappy rash when he was around 18mths old. It looked like acid burns, his skin was cracked and bleeding and it was very, very painful. Absolutely nothing we did got rid of it. Creams would make it better for a few days, but then it would come back worse than ever.
Finally I looked into his diet. It turns out that it was from salycilates, which are in fruit and veges and some other foods. Once we eliminated the sals from his diet the rash disappeared and he never got it again. He's now 5 and can tolerate normal fruit and veges, meusli bars, etc.
DD also started getting the same rash a few months ago. We eliminated sals again, but it wasn't enough for her, we also had to take dairy out of her diet to get rid of the rash.
Interestingly, we went to a new GP when DS was 2 and in asking DS's medical history, we mentioned that he had really bad nappy rash when he was younger. The doc immediately said "it's from fruit" which we then confirmed, that yes it was, so he was on a restricted diet because of it.
Just something to consider. DS and DD's rashes cleared up within a week of starting the elimination so it would be pretty easy to test. Also, if you are still breastfeeding, it passes through the milk, so you would have to eliminate it too to get an accurate picture.
