As ive mentioned in heaps of threads, Ella has been having an ongoing nappy rash ( big red sore that bleed and clusters of them all sore and horrible) for months now, well im proud too say that FINALLY it has completly healed up.

See i knew had something too do with the nappies but i tried fleece liners and still got worse. so ditched them and abit bette rbut still bad.

So finally (since wyatt is out of the size 1 booroi prefold) I decided too line the Bumgenius nappies with a prefold so use the BGS as cover really, and flats sometimes, i have lined the itti dlishs tho, but her bum is absolutly healed it looks great few scar kinda marks from the sore but no sores. im not sure why the BGS are making her react worse then the ittis tho.

That's awesome Kizzah! We are still struggling and found salt water to be helping heaps....but it's sill there. What are the booroi prefolds made from? Does that mean she doesn't have anything synthetic against her skin?

They are bamboo fleece one side, and bamboo terry outer (only 8 % polyester, tho we fold usually so the bamboo fleece is againts her. but either way thats what working; alot more natural then the bg inners so !! im not really sure if thats why its healed but it has, i guess only way too know would be too use the bgs like normal and see if it starts too return then switch bak too prefold inners if it does. She has had alot nappy free time too coz she hate nappies altogether but is atm refusing too pee on potty.

That's excellent. We have been dealing with a similar thing and using flushable liners has improved it heaps.

she is much more comfortable tho surprisingly still waking up in middle night ahh. and slamming our door closed.

haydnsmum i tried liners but they made hers super worse. biodegradable ones too took ages too sort this out.
