Default Nappy Rash cream & wipes solution recommendations?

    Hi

Just a few more things I realised I need to get before bubs is here (still have plenty of time, but I keep remembering things that I dont have here!)

Anyway I was just wondering are all the nappy rash creams that you can buy on the mcn websites safe to use with cloth nappies? It seems some of them say they are safe and some of them dont say anything....

With the wipes solution Im after something easy to use that I dont need to spend any time preparing (or a great EASY home made recipe).

I 'think' I will be best to pop the wipes into a container daily with the solution... Then when I have to change bubs I dont have to fluff about with wetting the wipes etc. Unless you know of something easier than that Tell me if you think using a pump or spray is easier, I just found I had to drench them before I could use them with R and that was more time consuming. What do you find easiest? I ended up just wetting R's wipes under the tap before using them. But this time I think it will be better if I prepare them at the start of each day so they are ready to be used.

    Thanks

melz the easiest thing Ive found is to have a spray bottle of solution made up spray the kids and wipe

So spray the solution onto the bubs bum then wipe with a dry wipe?? That sounds pretty easy

Yeah, that's definitely the easiest way. You can get some good pre-made wipes solutions or just make some yourself. Google will turn up a few recipes.
Raw silk liners are also good for rashy babies. They're on the expensive side of liners, but well worth it even if you just have half a dozen on hand.

Wipes solution...I just use boiled water and a few drops of tea tree oil in a spray bottle.

ETA...I don't know about safe with MCNs (I use a liner when using it) but Magic Stick from darlings down under is WONDERFUL!

I also use tea tree oil in water, but I put the solution in a sports bottle so I can just squeeze the solution on the wipes. That way it's easier to get enough water quickly! As for creams, I only ever use corn flour and it's great!

Thumbs up Re: Nappy Rash cream & wipes solution recommendations?

Wipes solution - Cold chammomile tea & tea tree oil solution
But only when he needs abit of a cleanse due to rash etc.
(makes the most awesome compress for bad rash too)
Apart from that plain old water

Wipes - my all time faves are some I bought from Donna @ B4B geez about 2 years ago, bamboo terry with flannel tops.
    HUGE thirsty wipes. Love them.
My WhizzKidz are my 'it's only a little poo' wipes Love both of them
