Default rash on one leg

Hi

My baby has had a rough rash on the inside of one leg for a couple of weeks now. Sometimes it gets red, othertimes it is skin colour but very rough. This morning I noticed he had a blister there (I had him in the pouch whilst I did the groceries - perhaps it had rubbed).

Anyways I am trying to think of what it could be and what would help it - it is only on one leg so possibly not an allergy?? It is right where the line of his covers sit.

What do you all think?

It sounds like something Matthew has had ages ago, and in the end I had to get an anti-bac cream to treat it. If it's starting to blister, it sounds like it might be infected. Possibly a good idea to get the GP to check it out before smothering with creams that might not work unless they are anti-fungal or anti-bac. good luck!

My boy also has something like this from time to time. I have used an anti-fungal on it which seems to help but the rash still comes and goes. I am also giving his nappies a weekly wash with Dettol to kill any nasties. I have also found that sorbolene helps on the dry bits (probably wouldn't smother the blisters in it) and I have noticed it gets worse if the cover is a little too snug. I can't isolate a particular cover or nappy that gives the rash, it's just totally random. Good luck!
