auctions dissapearing just before they finish

A couple of auctions I was watching just dissapeared minutes before they finished. Any ideas why this might be?

Now I am very grumpy. They have both just reappeared after they finished!

That's really weird, I was watching one and it did not do that to me, I wonder why it did that to you, hope you get an answer. But I would have been a little peeved too!

were these Nicky's auctions? i was watching a few and they disapeared and when I tried to check it said they had been removed? I was sure I was the highest bidder on at least one?

This happened to me too, i bid on one and went back to bid on another and all of this persons auctions had dissapeared, so i went to my winning bidding history to try and find them there and it said i wasn't winning any, it was blank, so i thought i must have been outbid even though i couldn't find the auction...lo and behold 15 mins later i got an email saying i had won and all the aucitons had reappeared, but the others i wanted to bid on were finished... not happy...

Yep, they were. I wasn't highest bidder, but I was watching, trying to decide if I could justify spending the money.

Mum2squish - I'm glad I wasn't the only one, I thought I must have been going mad. Oh well, I was the highest bidder on the one I really did need thankfully.

Poor Nicky, she could have missed out on quite a bit of money if it hap[pened to all of her auctions. None of the potential last minute hyena bids would have happened.
