Default How to replace elastic in fitted nappies.

The elastic has gone in some of my nappies and I'm not sure how to fix them. The nappies have been overlocked around the edges so do I need to unpick the whole nappy before replacing the elastic or is there an easier way to fix them?

Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

You could try locating where the elastic starts and stops and making a small cut on the inside of the nappy to expose that point. Then cut some new elastic to size and stitch it at the top, thread it through to the bottom and stitch again then close your holes over.

I have a few nappies sitting there that need the elastic replaced, but I have been to scared to do it (don't want to wreck the whole nappy IFYKWIM)

I might give it a go tomorrow.
