Hi ladies. Im sort of new to MCN and am starting to slowly building up my stash. I've been naughty and just reading everyone's posts for the past few days and i have gotten such great tips from you all. Anyway so i thought it was about time that i starting posting! Anyway back to my question.....I was just wondering if there is anyway we can prevent pilling (sp)? I have quite a few peapods and some other WAHM nappies which are starting to look pilled. I want to keep my nappies in good condition so if you'se have any tips id really appreciate it!! Thanks

Welcome to NC. And yep, what Joh said. I actually don't bother with the lint collecting on nappies. Though a few that I have onsold, I did brush with a lint brush to get rid of the lint.
And yeah, the only nappies that actually pilled are the ones with polar fleece on them - and they were really old (like 2 years old) nappies anyway. Most nappies these days use anti-pill microfleece. Good quality suedecloth doesn't pill either. |

I've got the older style peapods and they're terribly pilled on the inside but that's because I washed them with my terry flats all the time. I'm too lazy to be bothered with pulling all the stuff off.
If you were concerned about it you could try turning them inside out or stick them in one of those laundry/hosiery/lingerie bags? HTH
