look wool isn't vegan , but it's natural, and as PP have said there are organic alternatives.

I have never heard of a non animal lanolin type thing because all lanolin is (as melinda pointed out) is the natural oils from the wool, nothing bets that. how it's extracted, you can buy purer versions and not as pure. Lanisoh (stuff you put on your nipples fro breastfeeding) is clinical/medical grade lanolin and is probably the purest.

doesn't make sense to not have an issue with the wool but have an issue with the lanolin. the animal doesn't die to get either.

grumble of the day: Living in a street that only gets dial up or over the top ridiculously exxy wireless. And dh is supposed to be running his web development biz from home now too. So he's on forced holidays. You'd think we're in woop woop, but no. dh was getting top ADSL just 400m up the road at his old office. Long grr, should've made it a post.

Exactly Meg, as Katanya said wool isn't vegan but it IS natural and organic wool and wool products should be acceptable to anyone other than vegans.

Wow, I hope I wasn't quite that crazy when I was high on pregnancy hormones! Thank goodness she has kind, patient people like you to explain again and again...
