Can I machine wash felted wool covers?
I have some wool interlock that I would like to use for covers or AI2s, but I'm not sure whether to felt it. I take it that unfelted wool is hand wash only, right? But if I felt it, would it be ok going through a machine wash? I struggle to find time to hand wash things, and my machine is fairly gentle with delicates/wool.

you could wash unfelted in the machine on gentle if you wanted i reckon.
but definetly felted goes in the machine.

I agree with Joh - all my felted woolies have their own wash in my front loader but unfelted ones are handwashed in a bucket of tepid water.

wool interlock is pretty hard to felt, so you might find it will be okay machine washing it on wool cycle anyhow
