It worked!
Just wanted to put in some good news.
DD has had her first bout of nappy rash and I had to use some of her good pockets while she had cream on, of course it ended up all over them  .Even a strip wash didn't get it off, in fact it went black  , I think the hot water made one of the other fabrics run.So I used some laundry soap and rubbed them by hand, then used the squirt to get it all out and washed them normally. They are beautiful and bright again  .

Yep all better, no idea what caused it. She keeps pulling at herself during nappy free time (a lot) but there is no mark, no redness, it is all clean, no idea what is irritating her. We have cut her fingernails really short, maybe that will help.

Ohhh thanks for the tip! I have the same issues with strip washing, will give your method a go
