Default Getting stains out when there is no sun

I have a nappy that is badly stained from the mother of all poos that Chelsea did on Saturday I know the sun will help to get it out but at the moment there is no sun. In fact, it's raining here as I type.

If I hang it on the line & it remains overcast & drizzly, is there any hope of the stain coming out? Should I just dry it inside & put it back in the stash & hope for some sun the next time I wash it?

I've been lucky that I've never really had to worry about stains before but this one is a doozy

I am finding that too.

I have before just put the nappy gently lay stain side down in a small amount of water and napisan. Not so the whole nappy is soaking in it just the stain so to speak.

I've found SARD wondersoap great for stains, Mel. worth a try. I usually rub it on and leave to soak in for a bit and then come and rub some more to remove the stain.
I've also heard that if you leave white things on the line overnight it can help whiten them, not sure about removing the stain but worth a try (but that could have just been some bull that some one fed me and I believed it so it would be ok to leave clothes on the line overnight )

Even if there is no sun...there are still uv rays which will assist in the removal of stains....granted its not as good as direct sunlight but there are still uv rays..

Hmmm I may have to invest in some sard too.
Chevy's newborn mustard poos are staining everything. Liners are no good because the poo goes everywhere - not just on the liner. Grrr.

i put mine in the window yesterday and they got intermittent sunlight - perhaps 2 hours max - and the stains were gone - i was truly amazed - made my hubby laugh by wandering around saying i love the sun, the sun is miraculous etc - he asked if he had to sacrifice anything to the sun - lol
