Default Staining on Velcro

Hi all

I've been using Bum Genius' on my newborn son since we returned from hospital 3 weeks ago.

All is going well - very happy with them so far (although he does look like an Ooompa Loompa in them still - very cute though).

Washing hsa been going well so far...I do a rinse cycle first, followed by a hot wash and extra rinse in my front loader. Until yesterday, no marks remained after washing.

BUT, one of yesterday's nappies was covered in poo as he'd had an "accident" as I was changing him, hence I tried to "catch" the poo in the nappy....this resulted in getting poo on the velcro - both one of the tabs and the strip on the front.

After 2 washes as described above, both parts of the velcro are now marked brown.

Any hints on how to remove??

TIA!

Put them in the sun the sun should bleach any stains away - works well for the nappy part of the nappy, so I'm assuming it would work well for the velcro too. I've had a poo stain on the outer of a PUL AIO and the sun got rid of that ok.

I had difficulty getting the "bits" out of the velcro with just a machine wash so I used an old toothbrush, and yep as the others said - sun sun sun.
