Default washing wool covers

I friend has passed on some small wool covers to try overnight with Kye but unsure about washing them? Do I wash them in a wool mix? I know I need to lanolise them but not 100% sure on the procedure. This may be a silly question but can I use the lanishon (nipple cream) or do I need to buy a specific lanolin.

Hi there!
I personally wash on delicate cycle with wool wash.

Then to lanolise I use lansinoh (about a pea size). Dissolve into boiling water, then I add some luke warm water to cool down and place covers in so that they soak. I usually leave overnight then just wring dry and I place on a towel flat to dry.

... what kat said

I usually just handwash with a teensy bit of baby bath before lanolising (too scared to felt them in the machine!)

You could also just ask your friend if she minds if you wash/don't wash them. Or how she likes them washed.
Because for me, I would wash & prelanolise for a friend to try out for the night, then wash after the wollies are returned.

All the best!
