Default Chemical free alternative to Napisan?

Can anyone suggest anything that I can use to add to the wash like you would Nappisan to help get kids clothes a bit cleaner? I seem to always have atleast 1 bit of kids clothing that comes out still stained and I would rather use something that is not going to have any effect on their skin, especially with the new baby. The only thing I have found so far is this...

https://www.naturescradle.com.au/pro...l.php?prod=213

It doesn't look like it would last long though.

I use Tri-nature pre-soaker and have never had a problem with it. I think if you google Tri Nature you should find it.

I just picked up something from Woollies the other day called, "Delbrite Natural Wash Booster" which is just Sodium Carbonate. I'm not sure if there's a diff between that and Sodium Bicarbonate (as far as laundry is concerned) but I thought I'd try it (I like to try everything lol). Unfortunately, the pindan beats everthing I think lol

Have you tried "Exit" soap ... available at most Mitre-10 hardware stores and some saddlery stores?

Or pour a little liquid laundry detergent onto the stain and rub together before putting into the wash. Only need a tiny dribble not a big glob ... if that makes sense.
If you use a powder detergent then a "pinch" of powder onto the pre-wet area of the stain and rub in ... then put into the wash.

Hope that helps.

If the stain is an oil based thing, try rubbing with a little regular soap before washing... works a treat

That Tri Nature stuff looks like it is value for money. I might have to give that a go. I had a look in our local Coles and Woolies today and nothing!

the Herbon one was voted the best by "Choice", we all tend to be a bit dubious of their studies though

Tri Nature is excellent! I've been using it for 18 months and I reckon it actually works better than napisan...
