Another soap nuts question

I got my sample pack in the mail yesterday and am doing my first load now and it struck me...do I have to take them out before the load rinses?

I live it in the whole wash.....

I've been using them for ages and only take the bag out to replace the nuts every 4-6 washes.

You mean do you take them out before the rinse cycle? You don't have to but it just means you probably have to replace them more often. In fact they say you don't even need to do a rinse cycle.
