Default IB D'Lish hourglass booster's falling apart

So far on 4 nappies but I can see that others are starting to go too
They are sew-ins only a few months old, so far 10 cent sized holes????

I have used IB's for years (2 DS's) & this has never happened. Washed as per instructions.
Please tell me it's a bad batch

I don't want to go to sposies but in my mind IB D'lish are the perfect nappy. I have tried just about every kind of cloth nappy & I don't want to change.

I have sent Sue some photos yesterday so am not expecting a reply as it's a w/e. I guess I just wanted to know if it has happened to anyone else.
I know it's silly but I'm panicking. After using IB for so long, I don't want to change.

Sue has excellent customer service and has very high standards for her nappies so I believe this will be just a bad batch. I'm sure you will work it out with her.

Are you having issues with any other nappies? What age is bub?

Heaps my bamboo nappies have recently disintegrated, I put it down to toxic teething wee...that includes, IB sewn in and snap in, Bubblebubs, WK, Home made trifolds...

I unpicked the bamboo boosters from my sewn in d'lish and am planning on sewing some new ones.....maybe to snap in, maybe to hand sew back on, not sure yet.

I personally think that bamboo just is not strong enough to deal with some bubs wee...I had none of these issues with previous bubs.

I have taken to washing everyday, rinsing and I am not sure if has made a difference (as my nappies are all damaged already) but I hope that it helps with the issue as I like bamboo.

And I am sure Sue will help you figure it all out - IB customer serivce is ACE!.

I find bamboo is not as tough as hemp in general. I have hemp that is 4 years old but bamboo just does not last. Sue will sort you out though I am sure, sounds like it may have been an odd batch of fabric.

I heard from the IB ladies straight away
I only use IB's atm but with DS1 I used others & no probs. DS2 is 8 months so right in the middle of teething.
So the plan is to rinse straight away until teething is finished.

    Thanks everyone.

I think there has been some really poorly made bamboo fleece available, lately.

I assume that most of the fleece available to local wahms and the offshore manufacturers is all coming from the same factories- I've been having trouble with the lighter weight fleece lately. A bit before that there were manufacturing errors in some of the heavy weight fleece.

I just received from Sue a bunch of replacement nappies and boosters. She replaced some for me about 3 months ago and since then I've been rinsing them religiously so I don't know why it's happened again! Hopefully I'll have more luck this time.
