Its actually not as neat as replacing it on the TT nappies but when I replace it I cut an opening at the side to turn the nappy inside out, you can see where the elastic went, if its a medium elastic is about 13cm and 15cm for a large (each side) sew in place and then turn back out and either hand stitch shut or carefully machine stitch close. Where it closes wont be perfect but it will look ok and will definately give life back to them, it is very easy so even if you have basic sewing knowledge you will be able to fix them the only tricky part is closing the hole you made and making sure you dont catch the elastic in the seam

    thats hun
what i ended up doing was:

at the back seam just above the tag was where the nappy must have been finished off so i up picked it here, turned the nappy inside out - attached the elastic where the other was and then turned right way and single line stitched where the original stitch was and hey presto!

it was actually a lot easier than i thought and now i have fabbo elastic!
