    Default Washing Nappies In Water

Any one else not use powder? Should I put in something else? Just did a hot wash yesterday because I am waiting for my washing powder to arrive and they came out surprisingly clean and smelt clean!!
    Just wondering if it's bad

LOL I was going to ask how you washed them without water?

But i was wondering the same...seeing as you use a tiny amount of detergent anyway.

I wouldn't think you could do it all the time as they do need something to 'clean' them. I would think some kind of build-up would occur if you just used water all the time .

I am sure I have seen people post that they do it, come on ... out of the woodwork! I want to know if it works long term.
They actually came out cleaner then usual (usually I use washing powder and cold water)!

I use nothing but water and sunshine I wash in warm and do a hot wash once every fortnight or so. Its the only way I don't get build up and stinky nappies. I've been doing it this way for about 2 years, no worries.

For those who was without powder etc....do you do all your washing soap free? I woudln't have thought just water would get them clean (all clothes and nappies?) Just wondering if it does..

mine came out the cleanest so far! Usually I have stains that need sunning but these ones were all really c;lean. Probably from the hot wash

I don't use detergents. I hotwash and line dry and my nappies look and smell clean and I never have to strip wash as there is no build up issues. Sunshine is the best.
