    Default Non-Staining Pain Relief

I hope this is the right spot for this question! Can anyone recommend pain relief that doesn't stain MCN's? My 7 month old is teething and quite miserable, not sleeping well etc. A couple of weeks ago I gave her some panadol at night and it turned my bamboo inserts grey - they have faded a bit now but are still a noticeable grey colour. A couple of times I have used a disposable at night and given her panadol. But I really hate doing this as I had been 4 months without a single disposable!!!

I have been using the Chemist Own brand of panadol. Is there something else I can use that doesn't stain MCN's? Is there a particular ingredient that causes the staining? Terry flats don't stain so I have been using them during the day if I need to give her panadol but they don't last at night.

    Thanks for any suggestions!

Hylands teething tablets are wonderful. I hardly ever use panadol and they are natural

I use Panamax liquid and it doesn't seem to stain. It also has the smallest amount of laxative of any liquid paracetamol that I've been able to find.

Where do you get them from & what colour packet am I looking for? I've never heard of them. I only give panadol as a last resort, another alternative would be great.

From the chemist, in a little pill jar, white mostly with a bit of pink/blue on the label. They are about $14 I think. The should be with the bonjela etc.

They are also good for just general unsettled babies/toddlers too as they have a calming effect.

DS was a terror of a teether but once I found them I could stop using panadol.
