    Default Washing woolies

    Hey everyone.

What is the best way to wash woolies. It's a long story, which involves a 14.5month old, but our two pairs are covered in Breakfast.

I normally handwash mine in warm water. I have a lanolin woolwash. I haven't had to get cereal off them, but have had to get poo off. I just gently rub my hand over them, like I would when handwashing anything else.

Sorry not good at explaining things.

pick the cereal off them and then hand wash in luke warm water with wool wash or lanolin based wool wash. ( if you wash with wool wash you would need to re lanolise)

Depending on the wool, if its dried weetbix or something on sturdy wool I have to admit I put it in a wool wash setting in the machine. Only for really sturdy wool. I wouldnt wash BFL in the machine.

I'd leave it to soak in a woolwash for a little while too then gently sponge the breakfast out of it too, then just rinse and lanolise. I wouldn't normally rinse but given it sounds like it's cereal and milk I would certainly rinse to get rid of residual milk that may make it smell rotten.

thanks guys! Thank you very much for the advice

P.s - Donna did just the best job on them. He looks so very cute in the woolies - I just want to make sure that I don't ruin them.
