Hmmmm, strip wash? soak?

please tell me to get back to packing!!
It could be a coupe of things
Too much or too little detergent
or not making sure they are properly dry before reusing.
It shouldn't matter what the inner of the nappy is, but it may depend on what your internal soaker is made from. Some people find Hemp smells more than bamboo, though I've never had that issue myself.
I would as the others have suggested do a strip wash and make sure the nappy is absolutely dry when you bring it in - it should smell fresh and clean and not haylike.

Remind me if I forget to BAKE
strip wash - do you do a rinse cycle before you wash - i've found that that really helps as it washes out the ammonia
