    Default smelly Honeyboy Nappy

    I have several Honeyboy nappies and one of them smells really bad, dry and also when its wet! its got an interlock liner where as the others have fannel, velour etc so could it be the interlock? if so what should I do..........

    Have you tried strip washing it? That can help remove smells.
    Or maybe add some tea tree or other nice smelling oil to the wash and see if that helps.

    It could be a coupe of things

    Too much or too little detergent
    or not making sure they are properly dry before reusing.

    It shouldn't matter what the inner of the nappy is, but it may depend on what your internal soaker is made from. Some people find Hemp smells more than bamboo, though I've never had that issue myself.

    I would as the others have suggested do a strip wash and make sure the nappy is absolutely dry when you bring it in - it should smell fresh and clean and not haylike.

    strip wash - do you do a rinse cycle before you wash - i've found that that really helps as it washes out the ammonia
