Default is it the bamboo or the mum?

ok not sure what's going on here. my cushie tushies SMELL really strong after she's weed (?sp) in them. When I first got them via fluffy mail they hadn't been dried properly before being put in the post and so the bag was sweaty and they were quite smelly. THey seemed fine afterwards though. I've tried strip washing them but still have this problem. Is this normal for bamboo, am I doing something wrong washing wise or did the posting them wet cause this?

posting them wet would be my first guess as the culprit.
I know leaving washing wet for a day in the washing machine makes it stink, so I can only imagine a couple/few days wet and sealed in a post bag would be a lot worse

I've had success with using vanilla essence in the wash when re-washing musty clothes, you could perhaps give that a go? otherwise, if it doesn't improve after a few more washes, you may want to contact the person you bought them from?

oooo vanilla essence what a good idea. i don't really want to cause a problem with the mum. she posted it a few weeks late but was having trouble with the heat wave down south and her kids as she didn't have transport and couldn't post it (something along those lines, bought it from buy 4 baby) and so i was really understanding so she sent me a few for free which was so nice of her. so i don't want to complain now after getting a few for free!
