Same thing happened to me Kizzzah. It happened to all of my d'lish- I had to send them back and Sue kindly replaced them.
In our case, it was due to DS's toxic wee. I now rinse any bamboo nappies or boosters immediately after use before dry pailing.

what kind of rip is it? does it look like an actual rip or a hole? If it looks like a rip (and not along a sewing line or anything) I'd guess it's the machine (maybe something caught in the drum?), if it looks like a hole from being worn thin then it might be deterioration from very strong/acidic wee like Noelle said.
My machine sometimes makes little holes in knit fabrics (like T-shirts)but has managed not to do it to nappies!

UMM ONE IS ALONG THE sewn line and on the other its in the centre both are on the underside of the sewn in booster, they are some the very first i got 9mths ago... and DD used them heaps and now ds has them, im still using them but the rip isnt very nice lol. hmm just did another load so will see if happened too any more. ill try take pics later

me too really dnt want anymore too get wrecked. 2 older ones im not as concerned about but i dnt want any my new nappies getting the same thing happen.
