Question Q Re:Wear and Tear of Snaps

I noticed yesterday that the snap on one of my nappies has a crack through it. It is the bottom part of the snap iykwim.

I've never had this happen before and I'm wondering if it is a normal part of wear and tear on a nappy. The nappy is about 2-3 months old and has been used somewhere between 5-10 times I guess.

How do I go about repairing it?- I don't have a snap press.

    TIA

Have you contacted the maker Fi?

If not, I'm sure there'd be a few of us with presses who'd be able to help!

I haven't Carmen because I wasn't sure whether it was just a wear and tear issue that you have to expect from time to time or whether there was a fault in the snap.

Given that'd cost me around $10 to post anywhere and back again, It'd be best to try to fix it myself or locally if I can.

I think its possible its a faulty snap, or it has been pressed super hard (or slightly of centre) when applied.......

The only problems I have ever had with snaps are the ones I have not applied properly

I've only seen a snap crack on a very used 2nd hand nappy I have purchased. I wouold think its a faulty snap, and if that's the case it would be covered under warranty (statutory) and the seller should replace it or fix it.

If it's been snapped too hard it may have had a hairline crack which has only now become apparent. I'd contact the maker. If it's one of mine contact me lol!
