Yep on special here (WA) $6.99/box. Bought three, that should last me a while. I hate supporting Woolworths when I know I can it from different places (bettter places) but I'm on such a budget atm.

what are ionic and non-ionic thongoes? It's described that way in the Eco Store stuff as well as the standard dish liq ones and I never know what it means.
I know the Ecologic spells everything out and I can recognise every ingredient in it ykwim? Our local HFS was out of Ecologic (strangely) so I too have Eco Store dish liq as it was the best of what was there but I wonder about the whole ionic and non-ionic thing - does anyone know what it means?

This is back from high school science. Non-ionic means the molecular is uncharged and ionic (anionic) means it has a negative charge.

Non-ionic doesn't react with other things like the hard water particles. Whereas I am guessing the ionic molecules would react. Don't know what this would mean in the washing powder though.

After all your talk on this stuff I went and brought 2 boxes today lol thought if it's THAT good it's worth trying and if it's worth trying it's probably worth buying 2 while it's on sale

bottom, I went up to woolies today to find some more natural powder for Kye's nappies. I spent 20 minutes going over the various powders and was tossing up between Eco Store & Planet Ark and ended up going planet Ark. will see how it goes.

Do I still use half of what they recommend like I do with a normal powder?

I think they make allowances in their dosing recommendations, so I do just under a scoop, but closer to full than half and it does the job perfectly with no obvious residue.
