Not a smelly wee phase otherwise it has lasted a year! I have noticed it for a while so I dont think its just pregnant nose. Maybe I am the only one that can smell it in the entire house when the dryer is on or if I walk past the airer though

Our nappies get smelly whenever DD is getting teeth?? i wash in warm water with a squirt of dishwashing liquid and either hand in the sun if I can or pop in the dryer, seems to work for us. Dh also washed in disinfectant a couple of times as he couldn't stand the smell and that worked as well

I've noticed Laila's have suddenly begun smelling lately too. They are fine when they are dry but once the wee hits them I can smell it through her clothes. I put it down to teething.

I did try a strip wash two nights ago and I must say it has definitely improved it somewhat

What washing detergent do you use? I used to get that all the time when I used amolin, since I changed to omo sensitive I haven't had a problem.

Maybe try some Dettol inwash? It will kill any bacteria etc that may be on them causing smell? We add it about once a week and to really nasty loads.
